David grew up in Burbank, attended Burbank High School, and graduated in the class of 2007 and went on to graduate from Occidental College in 2011. Before becoming a police officer for the Bakersfield Police Department, he worked as a lifeguard and coach at both the McCambridge and Verdugo Pools here in Burbank. He coached at Burbank High from 2011 to 2012. Although he is no longer with us, he will always be a Bulldog in our hearts. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts in the upcoming weeks.
On June 26th, the day after David's death, Flags across California were flying at half-mast in his memory.
